ഷാർജ പുസ്തകോത്സവം കേരളത്തിലെ എഴുത്തുകാർക്കും വായനക്കാർക്കും പ്രചോദനം: എം.എൻ. കാരശ്ശേരി

ഷാർജ: ഷാർജ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര പുസ്തകോത്സവം കേരളത്തിലെ എഴുത്തുകാർക്കും വായനക്കാർക്കും ഒരുപോലെ പ്രചോദനമാണെന്ന് പ്രമുഖ എഴുത്തുകാരൻ എം.എൻ. കാരശ്ശേരി അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു.

പുസ്തകമേളയോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് മാതൃഭൂമി ബുക്സ് സ്റ്റാൾ സന്ദർശിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം.

ഷാർജയിലെ ഈ മേള ഇന്ന് മലയാളികളുടെ ‘വായനോത്സവമായി’ മാറിക്കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നുവെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു. കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള എഴുത്തുകാർക്ക്, വിശേഷിച്ച് പുതുതായി എഴുതിത്തുടങ്ങുന്നവർക്ക്, ഈ മേള വലിയ പ്രോത്സാഹനമാണ് നൽകുന്നതെന്നും എം.എൻ. കാരശ്ശേരി പറഞ്ഞു.

SHARJAH: The Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) serves as a major source of inspiration for both writers and readers back in Kerala, according to acclaimed writer and critic M.N. Karassery.

He shared his views while visiting the Mathrubhumi Books stall at the festival.

Karassery noted that the Sharjah fair has evolved into a “reading festival” (vayanotsavam) for the entire Malayali community. He particularly emphasized the significant platform it provides for new and emerging writers from Kerala, giving them invaluable exposure and encouragement.
