ഷാർജ: ഷാർജ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വിമാനത്താവളം വഴി യാത്ര ചെയ്യുന്നവർക്ക് ഇനി വീട്ടിലോ, ഹോട്ടലിലോ, ഓഫീസിലോ ഇരുന്ന് ചെക്ക് ഇൻ നടപടികൾ പൂർത്തിയാക്കാം. ഇതിനായി വിമാനത്താവള അതോറിറ്റി പുതിയ ‘ഹോം ചെക്ക് ഇൻ’ സേവനം ആരംഭിച്ചു.

ഈ സേവനം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന യാത്രക്കാർക്ക് വിമാനത്താവളത്തിലെ ചെക്ക്-ഇൻ കൗണ്ടറുകളിലെ ക്യൂ ഒഴിവാക്കി നേരിട്ട് പാസ്‌പോർട്ട് കൺട്രോൾ വിഭാഗത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിക്കാമെന്ന് അധികൃതർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.

‘ഹോം ചെക്ക് ഇൻ’ ആപ്പ് വഴിയോ, www.sharjahairport.ae എന്ന ഔദ്യോഗിക വെബ്സൈറ്റ് വഴിയോ, 800 745 424 എന്ന നമ്പറിൽ വിളിച്ചോ ഈ സേവനം ബുക്ക് ചെയ്യാവുന്നതാണ്.

വിമാനം പുറപ്പെടുന്നതിന് എട്ട് മണിക്കൂർ മുൻപ് വരെ, പ്രത്യേക ടീം യാത്രക്കാരുടെ താമസസ്ഥലത്തെത്തി ബാഗേജുകൾ ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങുകയും ബോർഡിംഗ് പാസ് നൽകുകയും ചെയ്യും.

പാക്കേജുകളും നിരക്കുകളും

മൂന്ന് പാക്കേജുകളിലാണ് ഈ സേവനം ലഭ്യമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്:

• കോറൽ പാക്കേജ്: 145 ദിർഹം (ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ ബാഗുകൾക്ക്)
• സിൽവർ പാക്കേജ്: 165 ദിർഹം (മൂന്ന് മുതൽ നാല് ബാഗുകൾ വരെ)
• ഗോൾഡ് പാക്കേജ്: 185 ദിർഹം (ആറ് ബാഗുകൾ വരെ)

എയർലൈൻ നിയമങ്ങൾക്ക് അനുസൃതമായി, അധികമായി വരുന്ന ഓരോ ബാഗിനും 20 ദിർഹം വീതം ഈടാക്കും. പ്രാഥമിക ഘട്ടത്തിൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ മാത്രമായിരിക്കും ഈ സേവനം ലഭ്യമാവുക.

Sharjah Airport Passengers Can Now Check-in From Home, Skip Airport Queues

SHARJAH: Passengers traveling through Sharjah International Airport can now utilize a new “Home Check-in” service, allowing them to complete all check-in procedures from their home, office, or hotel.

Airport authorities confirmed that passengers who use this service can bypass the check-in counters and queues, proceeding directly to the passport control section.

The service can be booked through the ‘Home Check-in’ app, the official airport website (www.sharjahairport.ae), or by calling 800 745 424.

A dedicated team will visit the passenger’s location up to 8 hours before the flight’s departure time to collect the baggage and issue the boarding pass.

Service Packages and Pricing

The home check-in service is offered in three tiers:

• Coral Package: 145 AED (for 1 to 2 bags)
• Silver Package: 165 AED (for 3 to 4 bags)
• Gold Package: 185 AED (for up to 6 bags)

An additional fee of 20 AED will be charged for each extra bag, subject to the airline’s baggage regulations. In the initial phase, the service will only be available in select areas.

This initiative is designed to save passengers valuable time, especially during peak travel seasons, and help reduce congestion at the airport.

Similar services are already available in other emirates. In Dubai, Emirates, Flydubai, and Kuwait Airways offer home check-in via the DUBZ app, while Etihad Airways provides a similar service for passengers in Abu Dhabi.
